Everyday is Earth Day at Treasures by the Tide! Our mission is to create responsible and sustainable products, educate about the rarity and recycled materials we use, and teach techniques to help reduce our collective footprint!
Recycling and sustainability are always at the forefront of our designs and apparent in each item in our shop! In honor of Earth Day, we wanted to share how supporting our small business makes an impact to our Planet!

We make contributions to local nonprofits like Save the Dunes initiatives to keep our Indiana Dunes protected
We have posted a tutorial on how to make small changes to the consumption habits we are all used to so that we can work together to prevent plastic from entering the Lakes, Rivers and Oceans that we love. We have also vowed to remove single-use plastic from our lives and have started to do so by changing our reliance on using plastic water bottles. We have been empowered to choose and champion sustainable alternatives like Brita water filters and reusable bottles in our daily lives. Try to cut out single-use plastic water bottles by using sustainable alternative methods!
