Caring for your Beach Glass - From Shore to Home

Beach glass has been in the Lake for years and has been exposed to the elements, including bacteria!

We recommend soaking the glass overnight in 4 parts water and 1 part cleaning vinegar. Vinegar is an inexpensive way to clean the glass naturally without using harsh chemicals.

Many glassers like their beach glass how it’s found ... frosted. Since we make jewelry with our beach glass we like to dab a little baby oil to bring out the vibrant colors. We typically don’t oil whites because they become too transparent. If you don’t like the shiny appearance, wash with Dawn dish soap and the frosted look will return!
